My Photo series follows a behind the scenes take of Kayla Cosgrove, known as Brisbane based Rapper & Hip Hop Artist KMAY’s music video, ‘Don’t Touch’. Melodies inspired by the Me Too movement, KMAY’s song Don’t Touch focuses on consent and her experiences as a women in the arts. For the purpose of this shoot, we have been inspired by 70’s fashion, lighting and set design. This photo series shows a day in the life of shooting a music video. Shot from a behind the scenes perspective of the inner workings of the set and how it operates, focusing on our talent KMAY. Through this series I want to reflect her vibrant, strong, feminine personality. The images focus on a day in the life of an artist and her team on set from getting makeup done to the final wrap photo. My Placeholder image is KMAY posing against the set.
